Head coach and co-owner of FC Stumbras Mariano Barreto has been appointed advisor of Portuguese club Cova da Piedade.

This new position will not impact Barreto’s work at FC Stumbras, which will continue to be his top priority. He remains co-owner and head coach of the club.

“When I came to Lithuania I stated how important this project is to me. Nothing has changed. Stumbras is my priority and I could never leave the club. We are having a wonderful season and it is not a coincidence. We are working hard and we will continue to do so”, – he told fcstumbras.lt

 FC Stumbras have won the last 5 matches in the A Lyga and currently sit third in the league table.
